The final motion piece was a 40 second stop-motion video that flows. seamlessly between each group members section of the animation. Our group piece was selected to be screened in the Manchester Poetry Library which was a huge achievement.
We animated the full poem line by line using Procreate to capture a hand crafted, low-fi aesthetic with a stop-motion feel. Soft, circular forms represented the souls as abstract characters - focusing on spiritual connection over physical interaction. The minimal, symbolic visuals aimed to reflect the poem’s emotional tone through motion and shape.
